If you had asked me several years ago about whether I was a cat or dog person I would have said cat, all the way. They are low profile, require minimal maintenance and just generally are cool. But after having a dog for a number of months now, I can say this: I love my chihuahua more than I ever thought possible. When I wake up in the morning, this is what I see:

Now how cute is that? She is all over it! And this is all she ever wants in the world: to be with me.
I think we can all appreciate this simplicity of it. It is sheer beauty. I still love my two cats, but I just have a sneaking suspicion that the dog loves me best.
